Speaking of my being BANNED BY YOUTUBE!:
There's this interesting article. YouTube is trying to position itself as a new gatekeeper, which strikes me as a bad idea-- won't we just gravitate to something else? Once YouTube becomes establishment, that's it. Kind of, in a way. Once it becomes establishment it makes scads and scads of money (it does that already), but it loses its cache. Or, maybe not. "Establishment" is the new "mainstream," after all. YouTube wants to protect itself, I understand that, especially when stuff like this is happening. But then, there's this. I started trying to make an important point, and this is what I ended up with. Sometimes I don't make sense.
